Our Food PantryOne of our goals at Church of the Covenant is to share the love of Christ by offering assistance to those in need. Through member donations, we keep a food pantry stocked with canned goods, frozen items, and staples such as cereal. While our pantry is small, it is open to all. We consider the pantry to be a short-term help as those who use our services find long-term solutions through our partner in ministry, the Hope Center. The food pantry is available by appointment.
Church of the Covenant is known in the community for our work with Angel Food Ministries, which ceased operation in late 2011. It is our intention to continue supporting the community through our food pantry, providing occasional financial assistance, being a 50/50 partner with the Hope Center, and reaching out to our neighbors in other ways as we prayerfully seek the Lord's guidance in what He will call us to do in the future. Please note that we refer most requests for bill and rent assistance to Hope Center, which has the resources to help those in our community find the help they need. For more information on their ministry, please see their website.
