Activities
There is always something going on at the Church
of the Covenant. We welcome newcomers to our activities any time.
Vacation Bible School Coming - June 22nd through June 26th, 2008
Once again we will offer Vacation Bible School for kids in
preschool through 8th grade. Visit

volunteer or participant.
Sunday School and Nursery Care
- Nursery Care is provided for infants
through 3 year olds during our Sunday Worship service.
- After the Children's Sermon, children
preschool-aged through 5th grade participate in Sunday School, where they
study Bible stories and do a variety of different activities such as crafts,
games, science experiments, dramas, etc. to help them learn about the Bible
stories.
Believing & Belonging Classes
- On a regular basis Believing and Belonging
classes are conducted for those who are interested in becoming members of
our congregation.
Praise Team
- If you like to sing praise to the Lord,
perhaps you will consider joining the Praise Team. These members of our
congregation lead the congregation in song during the worship service and
sing special anthems during the offertory.
- Sunday morning rehearsals meet at 9:00
a.m., for our 10:00 a.m. worship service.
Women's Group
- Join the women of the church for Bible
study and fellowship on the 3rd Saturday of even numbered months
(February, April, June, August, October and December).
- The Women's Group is open to women of
all ages. We use our time to get to know one another on a more personal
level so that we become closer than folks who meet on Sunday mornings. We
do not provide baby sitting; we choose this time so that anyone who works
during the week can still come for brunch and fellowship and not have to
worry about the children's care. So anytime you want to join us, come on!
We would love to get to know everyone.

Bob Evan's on Hall Road by I-94
- April 19, 2008 - Dorothy Joseph, Mary Ann Krause
& Tracy Casio. Breakfast at church @ 9:27 a.m. followed by a
Prayer Scrapbook Activity. Please pay Dorothy in advance of this
date if you plan to create the Prayer Scrapbook.

- August 16, 2008 - Margaret Neebes @ her home on
the St. Clair River

Euchre Night
- Join us on the 4th Saturday of the month
for an evening of Euchre in the Fellowship Hall. Check-in starts at 5:30
p.m., and we start plating promptly at 6:00 p.m. Entry fee is $5 per
person. Play is individual, so come alone or bring a friend. There will be
PRIZE MONEY!
